Job Purpose:

The Life Sciences & Healthcare Industry Vertical of our Client is one of its fastest growing businesses, which has been highly acknowledged as the Industry Leader by the Analyst community. Our client has long standing excellent relationships with the top 15 Pharma companies and a Multi Billion LifeScience and Healthcare practice.

The Life Sciences Advisory Consulting Partner position is a key senior role within our Consulting Business for Life Sciences in Europe, responsible for to drive opportunity, sales and execution for consulting and transformation engagement. The main goal of this vacancy is driving the advisory consulting, transformation revenue and client references in the Life Sciences industry segments, such as Supply Chain, Regulatory, Manufacturing and Clinical by utilizing high quality program execution and demonstrating thought leadership on various platform and market outreach (conference presentations, published articles, etc.).

  • Responsible to shape an end state vision for selected clients’ businesses in Pharma/Biopharma/Life Sciences industry and related transformation requirements from strategy to execution

  • Driving thought leadership, enabling consulting led engagement, business development activities and provide leadership across domain and/or technology through preparing business transformation and improvement Points of View, client proposals, client presentations and sales cycles

  • Mining strong consulting and client engagement skills with experience in Life Sciences/ pharma with strong experience in positioning our solutions and interacting with client leadership team including CxO

  • Drives development and marketing of selected offerings and solutions within the Life Sciences domain

  • Work with Client Partners and others to drive and lead account expansion opportunities from opportunity identification through closing of additional revenue opportunities

  • Support sales and pre-sales efforts while balancing against client responsibilities such as helping with RFPs, sales presentations, and marketing events

  • Delivering consulting and complex transformational engagements by leading engagement teams, bringing strong domain / business knowledge and thought leadership while ensuring high quality delivery by exceeding client expectations

  • Coordinate directly with clients to obtain feedback and direction on current and future efforts to increase acceptance with our clients

  • Actively develop team skills and size as well as engage with our global consulting practices and act as focal point across geographies and organizations


Your Qualification:

More than twelve years of strong consulting experience and client engagement skills with proven hands-on record in Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical or other Life Sciences client environment.


Expertise in one of the following Pharma areas:

  • Pharma (Bio) Manufacturing:

    • Process Scale Up, Operational Excellence, Process Engineering and Product Development (PAT/QbD) or process qualification and validation, or alternatively several years of practical experience in planning or running of (bio)pharmaceutical process plants, or API manufacturing

    • Conversant with the usage of Enterprise as well as Plant IT applications across ISA S95. in the pharma manufacturing industry and Familiarity with S95 & S88 standards

    • Adherence to Pharma Quality and cGMP / GAM practices with experience in continuous manufacturing in pharma or biopharma will be added advantage

    • Manufacturing related Digital Transformation competencies incl. related knowledge on industry trends, best practices, project governance frameworks, business process knowledge and optimization techniques incl. e.g. building models, policies, practices, and procedures for complex manufacturing or techniques like LEAN, Agile, etc.

  • Pharma Clinical Development:

    • Pharma or Biopharma BRIDG and others

    • Compliance related aspects to pharmaceutical and medical device product development

    • Digital Transformation and/or consulting engagement in Clinical Development Domain which includes but not limited to and publishing as well as related regulatory aspects

  • Excellent leadership skills, analytical capabilities and ability to work and integrate within a global team leveraging strong personal work ethic, passion for consulting services, detail-oriented approach, and a sense of urgency

  • Flexibility and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization and to facilitate problem resolution across business and organizations

  • Experience with consulting organizations – global or niche – as well as candidates with industry membership, proven thought leadership or other channels involvement will be preferred

  • Candidates must show project management competency as well as proficiency with office applications; additional certificates in Supply Chain related IT solutions such as SAP, planning or procurement applications are preferable
