Account Executive / Client Partner for Financial Services (m/w/d)

The strategic business unit for financial services customers is a global organization that focuses on key financial services areas: retail banking, corporate & investment banking, insurance, payments and cards, wealth and asset management, as well as risk management and compliance.



  • This is a leadership role offering a global view of expertise to its clients in the financial services sector (Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets) through the portfolio of offers and coordinating the sales activities of several Managers towards the associated accounts.

  • Development of financial services market share with a real strategic approach and operational plan.

  • Identification and prioritization of business needs to focus on.

  • Creation of a client business plan.

  • Promotion and sale of key offers.

  • Establishment of pricing strategy and responsibility for tender responses within the scope of the role.

  • Development of close relationships with the client's management and building a long-term relationship with the client.

  • Supporting and leading the network of players in relation to your clients and communicating the end of projects to Team Managers.

  • Coaches and monitors his/her direct sales network.

  • Keeps driving his/her sales activity to reach his/her sales objectives.

  • Reports the activity follow-up to client, and drumbeats the relationship with him/her.

  • Ensures client satisfaction and client intimacy, doing client power/influence mapping.

  • Consolidates and steers his/her KPIs (data quality & analytics) in sales.

  • Ensures compliancy with his/her clients’ requirements /security, legal, IT…)



  • Business Development / Sales- / Account-Management – more than 10 years of experience

  • Sector Experience – Has spent the last 12+ years selling into the Financial Services and Capital Market sector. Has built up strong personal IP that can validate value and trust in this sector.

  • Commercial Expertise – Proven track record of sales with a highly strategic and consultative approach. Ability to shape go-to-market / penetration strategies and pilot to enterprise.

  • C-Level network – Proven ability to leverage and explore wider partnerships to drive growth and create value for clients with a strong network on C-level.

  • Used to Multi-Tower-Structures

  • Has a strong go-to-market DNA, is the selling leader of the organization and leads the whole team with high emotional intelligence and empathy.

  • Being open and receptive – at ease and relaxed; easy to talk to and get to know; listens attentively; is an open book; has a positive sense of humor; deals calmly with stress and gives people a chance to catch up.

  • Challenge the status quo – fearlessly takes on all issues, challenges, and people; comfortably confronts and works through conflicts; delivers negative feedback and messages without hesitation; lets everyone know where they stand; is energized by tough challenges; not afraid to make negative decisions and take tough actions.

  • Has an agile and positive mindset in order to manage escalations, mission critical situations and moving targets in a positive, aim-oriented and value generating way. Strong capability to build internal and external partnerships.
