Your Responsibilities:

The Life Sciences Marketing Strategist position is a key new role within the Life Sciences Commercial practice. The Marketing Strategist is a critical member of the senior management client team, and responsible for all digital marketing and marketing data analytics within the Pharma, MedTech Commercial Practice. The candidate must be a very strong leader to drive the marketing direction and be responsible for all areas including: brand strategy, creative campaign, user experience, social media, and metrics & analytics. Person must have an entrepreneurial spirit, as the agency will build as client adoption increases. Strong business acumen and ability to interact with customer marketing teams is a must. Candidate must ensure the originality, quality of content and style to meet the client’s marketing strategies and objectives. The role is supported by Client Partner and on-site and offshore Pre-Sales & Solutioning teams.


  • Lead of the development of marketing briefs, market research, client input, and client workshops

  • Partner with clients to understand brand, messaging, & creative vision

  • Gain product knowledge to ensure sound strategic planning, timely & accurate implementation, financial control and a solid client relationship

  • Be thought leader in marketing technology initiatives and in current and emerging technology trends

  • Possess ability to take abstract concepts to create cutting-edge marketing solutions that are representative of the client's goals, and within brand and compliance guidelines

  • Manage and carry out physician CX / UX, website, Apps, social media, and thought leader events

  • Lead physician market research and has ability to translate insights supporting marketing campaign

  • Utilize relevant tools for analytics/metrics and giving client recommendations based on proven data

  • Drive execution of marketing campaigns to adhere to client timelines and budget

  • Demonstrate strong personal communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility and trust for client pitches and proposals

  • Collaborate with Client Partner, Business Development, and India, medical affairs, and IT teams

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within our commercial practice area

  • Demonstrate balance of risk management and expedient decision making

  • Support our client’s marketing and digital solutions strategy, in partnership with costumer’s product management, and sales staff


Your Qualification:

  • At least 15 years of experience in marketing and Pharmaceutical blockbuster promotion leadership within the region, preferably working in a leading consulting or pharmaceutical company

  • Strong Marketing Strategist profile in creating and managing innovative, successful marketing campaign/programs in all relevant channels for the Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, in particular marketing communications, marketing technologies, CRM, Web / Mobile, social media, patient engagement

  • Demonstration of a consistent over-achievement of client deliverables and sales revenue targets

  • Experience working with strategy and creative teams to pitch and sell marketing initiatives

  • Understanding of marketing, digital health landscape and industry trends

  • Demonstration of ability to manage pitches and presentations to senior-level business and executives at leading Pharmaceutical Companies

  • Bachelor‘s degree or equivalent

  • Willingness to travel throughout Germany
