Job Purpose:

The consulting unit “Finance and Global Shared Services Transformation (FASST)” provides strategic and transformational capabilities and expertise to improve financial transparency and regulatory compliance to drive finance into the front office as a strategic business partner. In particular the mission is to envision, monetize, and optimize the shared service strategy of the customers, whether it is shared service centers in new world locations or the traditional hubs that leverage the latest digital capabilities around cloud, automation and machine learning

Your role as Director “Finance and Shared Services Transformation“:


  • Managing of large finance transformation programs with focus on German clients (cross industry)

  • Training and mentoring of staff

  • Development of thought leadership

  • Product development in finance transformation


Your Qualification:

  • Over ten years of relevant experience in finance transformation EPM / ERP consulting (cross industry) with dedicated project management roles preferably in Big 4 accounting firms or other leading finance management consultancies

  • Planning, Design and Execution of Finance Transformation Programs, ideally in context of “shared services”

  • EPM Design and implementation including Performance Management, Management Reporting, Planning and Budgeting

  • Experience in Legal Accounting and Financial Consolidation and Financial Reporting (various accounting standards)

  • End-to-end cycle of applied experience in implementing EPM or ERP applications in large complex organizations is required

  • Knowledgeable in Agile / Scrum methodology

  • Meticulous attention to detail, superb organization skills, and strong sense of ownership

  • Ability to work with cross organizational users – Finance, Support, Sales, Operations, etc. – to identify opportunities and drive them to resolution, translate business issues into solutions that address complex situations

  • Experience with working with an Offshore System Integrator/Business Process Outsourcer

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • You have excellent English language skills (written and spoken)

  • Willingness to travel (Post-COVID) and work in an international environment

  • A degree in economics / accounting / business / finance / computer science with professional qualifications in accounting / finance
