Business Development Manager Leader for Google Business Unit (m/w/d)

JOB PURPOSE

 

Experienced Sales Manager/Leader to proactively build and execute market development strategies and drive sales of next generation Cloud offerings with focus on Google Cloud that include solutions, platforms, frameworks and digital services for new and existing Customers in Europe.

 

  • Build and execute Go-to-Market strategy for Cloud offerings and services

  • Sense, discover, shape Cloud opportunities in the marketplace and develop a strong and qualified pipeline

  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle for opportunities – from lead generation to Rfx cycle to deal closure

  • Lead & anchor meetings and communications with Customer stakeholders at all levels (management, decision makers, influencers, operational owners) relevant to the opportunity

  • Shape compelling and contextual narratives of our clients Google Cloud value propositions

  • Bring the best of our client to every thing by collaborating with Geography Sales teams, Product teams, Business Units, Technology Units, Research and Innovation teams, etc.

  • Adopt structured sales tracking and reporting process

  • Establish yourself as a thought leader, trusted advisor and cloud evangelist

  • Build a collaborative network of executives, leaders, evangelists and cloud professionals from leading hyperscalers and relevant companies

YOUR QUALIFICATION

 

  • Proven track record of generating leads, building sales pipelines, winning strategic cloud/digital deals and achieving sales targets in the European market

  • Minimum of 5 years selling/closing deals in Services space in one of the following areas: Cloud enablement and migration, Technology Strategy and Technology Outsourcing

  • Candidate should have demonstrated knowledge of and experience selling cloud enablement and migration services to enterprise level accounts

  • Expertise in Public Cloud and IT transformation is preferred

  • History of collaborating closely and effectively with delivery, operations, and practice teams in building solutions

  • Good understanding of Cloud and related Digital technologies (IaaS, PaaS, Apps, Data, AI, IoT, Automation.)

  • Experience with Cloud Sales, preferably Google Cloud

  • Experience in developing and nurturing relationships with Customer stakeholders and positively influencing buying behaviour

  • Ability to profile market trends, Customer requirements and map them to contextual value propositions

  • Excellent storytelling, presentation and communication (spoken & written) skills

  • Experience in working in a global and multi-cultural environment

  • Ability to work hands-on. Ability to work independently as well as in diverse teams

  • Good leadership and team-building skills

  • Knowledge of the IT Services industry trends and competitive landscape.

  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience

  • Very good German and English language skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or relevant field. Master’s/ Management degree is an asset.

  • Relevant certifications in Technology/ Functional areas
