IHRE AUFGABEN
As a GCP Business Consultant, you will lead high-value, consulting-led engagements that modernize the Insurance business for the clients across Europe Central, with a strong focus on Germany. You will drive discovery through implementation, shape solution options, and ensure measurable business outcomes, collaborating closely with both business and IT stakeholders up to C-level. This role is explicitly focused on business discovery, engagement management and thought leadership.

Lead strategic business discovery to clarify objectives, value drivers, and modernization opportunities across Life, P&C and Health lines; translate insights into clear business and functional requirements and a pragmatic roadmap.

Design and specify solutions (e.g., use cases/user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases), bridging business and IT through crisp documentation and hand-offs into delivery.

Steer engagement execution - coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope/risks/dependencies, and secure adoption and value realization in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Present outcomes to senior leadership and facilitate decisions with CXO-level stakeholders; align next steps and mobilize teams accordingly.

Drive consulting-led value in areas such as Business Transformation & Modernization, TOM & process improvement, regulatory/compliance themes, and business/IT strategy.

Foster client relationships and references; contribute to proposals, PoVs and thought leadership that raise the market visibility in the Insurance segment.

IHRE QUALIFIKATION
Required Experience & Skills:
-
Experience: 12–15 years overall; 8–12 years in top-tier or specialist consulting with a strong
-
Insurance business consulting focus (Germany market exposure strongly preferred).
-
Insurance domain depth and strong workshop facilitation across business and IT; proven ability to analyze as-is, define to-be, and structure complex requirements.

Consulting in BFSI with end-to-end solutioning, problem-solving, and E2E optimization; comfortable leading cross-functional teams in hybrid setups.

Stakeholder management & communication at senior levels, including conflict moderation and decision facilitation.

Languages: Fluent German and English (written and spoken).

Mobility: Willingness to travel 50–75% across DACH/Europe Central.

Desirable Attributes:

Recognized certifications in business analysis/consulting methods and/or agile ways of working (e.g., IIBA, Scrum/SAFe); MBA or equivalent is advantageous.

Familiarity with AI/GenAI trends and how they enable insurance process and experience modernization.

Exposure to core insurance platforms (e.g., Guidewire) and broader industry topics (customer experience, data & analytics, sustainability) is a plus.

Thought-leadership mindset (PoVs, market research, speaking/writing) and a collaborative approach to building integrated teams across consulting, delivery and CTO functions.
