Sales Account Manager – Higher Education (m/w/d)

  • As an “Account Manager – Higher Education” your target segments are different educational institutions (like public and private universities)

  • Our client´s main products are toolboxes and software programmes for complex mathematic calculations in engineering

  • You provide state-of-the-art technology for teaching and research and support teachers and researchers in its use

  • You develop and build high level customer relationships within existing accounts as well as finding new contacts through prospecting

  • It is your task to ensure the renewal of our clients existing offerings and grow the business

  • You develop and execute account and territory planning, identifying, and prioritizing opportunities and developing client-valued solutions

  • Furthermore you will develop and manage a funnel of activities and document sales actions using a world-leading CRM system

  • Through these tasks you collaborate closely across technical, marketing and sales teams around the globe


  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required

  • Sales experience is desirable

  • Demonstrated success managing a territory and using a CRM system

  • Fluently spoken and written English

  • Self-driven personality; high energy level

  • Willingness to travel 25% to 50% of the time
